DOGE price action mirrors past bull markets; Parabolic breakout imminent?

Hình ảnh
Despite many assets in the cryptocurrency sector slowing down their gains, Dogecoin (DOGE) included, the popular puppy-themed meme coin is still holding firmly above the $0.08 level and is demonstrating signs that a strong recovery is in the cards in the next couple of months. As it happens, the current price action of Dogecoin seems to be mirroring the patterns observed during its previous bull markets, including in 2017 and 2021, according to the observations shared by renowned crypto trading expert Ali Martinez in an X post he published on February 26. Indeed, as Martinez explained on a Dogecoin chart, the past chart patterns repeating themselves this time around for DOGE could see the Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) CEO Elon Musk’s favorite crypto asset “enter a parabolic breakout around April” and push it towards $1.7 and then to $3.5 and beyond. Price analysis 11/3: BTC, ETH, BNB, XRP, SOL, ADA, DOGE, TON, LINK, MATIC

Bitcoin price is losing its upward momentum, but data suggests traders are gearing up to buy any significant dips. Bitcoin (BTC) soared above $35,000 on Nov. 2 and that may have sucked in the aggressive bulls who speculated that the next leg of the up-move was beginning. However, the price quickly turned around and fell back below $35,000 signaling that the breakout may have been a fake move. A mild correction during an uptrend does not signal a trend change. It is generally a healthy sign as it shakes out weak hands. When markets are trending higher, dips are viewed as a buying opportunity, but it is better to wait for the price to find a bottom before buying. Strong support levels could be watched as potential places where buyers step in to arrest the decline. Daily cryptocurrency market performance. Bitcoin’s bid to upend capital markets

At the PlanB conference in Lugano on Oct. 20, a panel of experts discussed how Bitcoin and blockchain technology could disrupt traditional capital markets . The panel, titled “Exploring the Future of Capital Markets: Your Second Layer,” featured leaders from several Bitcoin and blockchain startups including Blockstream, Sideswap, Setup Labs and Stalker. Panelists outlined how Bitcoin’s decentralized, transparent and programmable nature enables direct peer-to-peer trading of assets including stocks, bonds, derivatives and more. This removes the need for intermediaries like stock exchanges and clearing houses, reducing costs and risks. According to Sideswap founder Scott Freeman, building these “ capital markets around Bitcoin” will significantly increase activity and demand for the cryptocurrency. Other panelists highlighted how Bitcoin sidechains like Liquid provide the security, speed and functionality needed for complex financial transactions. ...

Bitcoin bulls encircle $28K as trader says 'big' buyer must step in

US gov’t shutdown looms — 5 things to know in Bitcoin this week

Hình ảnh
Bitcoin starts the week with a trip to $26,000 — can BTC price strength overcome sellers and a weekly “death cross?” Bitcoin (BTC) starts the last week of September with a retest of $26,000 as a stubborn range persists. An unimpressive weekly close sets the tone for the culmination of a traditionally lackluster month for BTC price action. Having shaken off a hectic week of macroeconomic events, Bitcoin has plenty more to weather before September is over. United States gross domestic product figures for Q2 will come on Sept. 28, with Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) data following the day after. The highlight, however, will likely come in the form of a speech from Jerome Powell, chair of the Federal Reserve, a week after it opted to hold U.S. interest rates at current elevated levels. Inflation remains a major talking point into Q4, and Bitcoin still lacks direction as week after week goes by without a clear upward or downward trend emerging. Will this week be different? The cou...

Bitcoin Bollinger Bands hit key zone as BTC price fights for $27K

BTC price is at a decision point within the context of the Bollinger Bands, but only time will tell whether Bitcoin can muster a breakout, their creator says. Bitcoin (BTC) could see fresh upside volatility as BTC price strength revisits key levels, a classic metric suggests. In an X post on Sep. 18, John Bollinger, creator of the Bollinger Bands volatility indicator, said that Bitcoin was positioned for a breakout decision. Bitcoin Bollinger Bands eye start of "walk up" After hitting new September highs the day prior, Bitcoin is challenging resistance levels out of reach since mid-August, data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView shows. For Bollinger, the signs from the largest cryptocurrency are encouraging. Bollinger Bands use standard deviation around a simple moving average to determine both likely price ranges and volatility. Singapore hands 3AC's Zhu and Davies 9-year markets ban

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has said it has banned the founders of collapsed crypto hedge fund Three Arrows Capital ( 3AC ), Su Zhu and Kyle Davies, from market activity in the country for nine years. Effective immediately, both founders will be barred from director positions or becoming substantial shareholders of capital markets companies in the city. “MAS takes a serious view of Mr. Zhu’s and Mr. Davies’ flagrant disregard of MAS’ regulatory requirements,” Loo Siew Yee, assistant managing director for policy, payments and financial crime at the central bank said in a statement. “MAS will take action to weed out senior managers who commit such misconduct.” 3AC went bankrupt in June last year, when it was decimated by the dramatic collapse of the Terra/Luna ecosystem and subsequent market crash. According to MAS, the crypto hedge fund “provided false information” by going over the limit of S$250 million ($184 m...

BTC price won't hit $100K before 2024 halving — Bitcoin investment exec

Bitcoin halving data will not be reflected in the market for a year or more, says Jesse Myers. Bitcoin (BTC) will only hit six figures after its 2024 block subsidy halving , not before, Bitcoin investor and author Jesse Myers believes. In an X post on Aug. 15, Myers, who is co-founder of Bitcoin investment firm Onramp, said that the market will only “price in” the halving post factum . Markets not "efficient" with Bitcoin halving Bitcoin’s four-year halving cycles are back in focus as the next halving event looms in the first half of next year. Miners will see the reward earned per block of transactions drop from 6.25 BTC to 3.125 BTC, while the corresponding drop in emission and its impact on supply and demand is getting analysts excited. Four Myers, however, markets will only bear out those implications after the halving has happened. “Bitcoin won't surge to $100k before the next halving,” he summarized. Justification comes in the form of criticism of market intuition....

After today's Bitcoin ETF decision delay, BTC's boring price action looks set to carry on through the weekend. Bitcoin (BTC) continues to frustrate investors with its tight range consolidation, giving no clue about the possible direction of the breakout. Typically, the longer the range, the stronger the eventual breakout from it. Therefore, traders should be on their toes to latch on to the breakout when it happens.  A minor positive in favor of the bulls is that they are holding on to a large part of the gains seen in 2023. That indicates a lack of urgency among the bulls to book profits as they anticipate the uptrend to resume. Daily cryptocurrency market performance. The Coinbase earnings report shows that services and subscriptions are the exchange’s core revenue streams. Is this a positive or a negative? Coinbase, a leading U.S. cryptocurrency exchange , shared its second-quarter results on Aug. 3. Despite showing a net loss, some positives emerged, like a 13% cut in operating expenses from the last quarter and a 3% boost in its cash reserves to $5.5 billion.  Coinbase key financial metrics, in millions of dollars. Services and USDC stablecoin impact growth One downside was the 7% fall in subscription and service revenue from Q1. The letter to shareholders revealed that a 28% decrease in the USD Coin (USDC) market cap partly caused this. Since Coinbase holds a stake in Circle, USDC's issuer, it gains from the interest rate offered by the stablecoin reserves. Addition...

PepeCoin (PEPE) price action points to a potential 70% drop

Hình ảnh
A bearish chart pattern suggests that PEPE could shave off another 70% in value, especially if the wider market continues to trend down. Pepe (PEPE) price has dropped by more than 70% three weeks after establishing its record high of $0.00000449. And the memecoin could fall even more in the coming days, according to a mix of technical and fundamental indicators. PEPE charts flash a classic bearish reversal pattern From a technical standpoint, the price of PEPE could drop sharply from its current levels. At the core of this bearish outlook lies the classic head-and-shoulders (H&S) pattern.
